The history of this tropical paradise started in the 70ies when it was part of a bigger property named Banana Shout and I highly recommend to read the book written by the first owner. Since Banana Shout was subdivided this property was run as a cottage business with a lush tropical garden. The current owners saw the potential of this Garden of Eden and brought the property up to the latest modern standards while maintaining the rustic character. A walk through the garden takes you past an old cotton tree, an oversized rubber tree, a fishpond, flocks of parrots harboring in the branches of all kinds of tropical trees and bushes and a swimming pool close to the entrance. Seven cozy cottages await the guests, a club house with a bedroom and bathroom upstairs, a shared kitchen and barbecue area for the hostel building close by. The hostel offers 3 apartments with 8 beds and 2 apartments with 6 beds downstairs for young travelers on a budget. The top floor has twelve private rooms with two shared bathrooms.
